About Raki

A Greek Culinary Journey Awaits

Our Greek Story

Eirini Kaloudi, from Almyrida, Crete, adds authentic touches to our menu with traditional offerings such as kalitsounia, makaronia, and dakos. She also introduced the cordial raki, which serves as the namesake for our restaurant.

Our management team combines a sophisticated atmosphere with natural ingredients to offer a curated menu unlike any other. This selection is carefully crafted, blending authentic recipes and ingredients from the Greek homeland with modern culinary trends.

A beloved custom that perfectly complements our cuisine is Raki, the traditional drink of Crete. Typically served after meals or during gatherings, Raki’s origins trace back to the ancient distillation of grape pomace. While known as tsipouro in other parts of Greece, in Crete, Raki is a cultural staple found in every home. It is a symbol of hospitality, friendship, and connection. Whether offered to guests or enjoyed at festivals, raising a glass of raki—always with a cheerful “Yamas”—is about warmth and belonging.
